I had been having chronic Sciatica, pain in my lower back, weakness in my left leg and constant tingling in my left toe, and it limited my ability to stand for any length of time or walk too far without at times a lot of pain. My yoga instructor recommended that I consider Acupuncture rather than surgery, and while I really knew very little about acupuncture, and specifically Dr. Alik. I was willing to try it. Dr. Alik is very gifted at identifying the pain points, explained patiently how acupunture works and is very patient, answers questions very knowledgeably, and listens well. I'm very pleased with Dr. Alik's work and I must say he's made remarkable progress on the strengthing of the muscles on my left leg, the pain in my lower back and the annoying tingling in my left foot. There is a lot I have learned and I highly recommend Dr. Alik for anyone who has had the types of symptoms I had. Unfortunately most medical doctors go the pain pills or surgery route much too quickly.

I have been suffering with numerous ailments, for most of my life. The first being crippling anxiety and stress. The second being severe joint pain in my knees from years of playing basketball, running, and weight gain. When I am in Dr. Alik’s presence, first off, it is very comforting and non-judgemental. He is a true healer. He can “feel” your pain and knows where and how to treat. My consultation with him was unbelievably personable and knowledgeable. Ive been on Lorazepam for anxiety, and different pain medications including steroids for pain as well as trying everything for my severe sinuses and allergies. It was an endless cycle. I finally turned to Dr. Alik, and since then, I am experiencing a pain-free life. I highly recommend acupuncture and the zeel injections. My knees feel better and I can manage going down the stairs without feeling my bone on bone pain. Meditating with Dr. Alik and practicing Qi Gong has helped me find my breath in times of stress. If I can recommend anything, you must start with the consultation. You won’t regret it. Dr. Alik has a true gift for sensing and healing pain; both physical and mental.
